The design approach

Conference foyers must accommodate registration, interval circulation and changing event furniture. This study uses Gold Phoenix 24x24 porcelain tile as an ordered background for a long prefunction hall with ballroom entrances and registration points.

Layout and circulation

Ballroom door pairs define one side of the hall, while glazing brightens the opposite side. Registration counters occupy designated edges rather than the central circulation route. The square tile grid follows the long building axis and is coordinated across door recesses. A generous open field allows the plan to support different event arrangements without introducing unnecessary permanent obstacles.

Material palette

Neutral architectural finishes and restrained dark door surrounds make the entrances easy to identify. Gold Phoenix contributes a warmer visual thread through the white floor, reducing the need for decorative inserts. Linear ceiling lighting reinforces the hall’s direction, while the polished finish is reviewed alongside daylight to avoid excessive glare.
